November 11, 2024 (Boston, MA) – President-elect Donald Trump selected Lee Zeldin to lead the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Conservation Law Foundation (CLF) released the following statement from President Brad Campbell, a Regional Administrator at EPA’s Mid-Atlantic Region during the Clinton Administration.

“CLF has always supported reforms that increase the quality and speed of regulatory decisions without sacrificing the health of our communities and natural resources or adding to the toxic burden of marginalized communities,” said Campbell. “If Administrator-designate Zeldin takes up the President-elect’s charge of ‘swift and fair reform’ with those values, we’ll work constructively with him. If not, CLF will put America first and lead the fight for the health and future of our communities.”

CLF experts are available for further comment.
