March 1, 2018 (CONCORD, NH) – Conservation Law Foundation (CLF) released the following statement today in response to Eversource’s reconsideration filing with the New Hampshire Site Evaluation Committee (SEC). Last month, the SEC denied Northern Pass the approvals needed to site and construct its proposed transmission line in the Granite State.
“Northern Pass’s motion is an act of desperation,” said CLF New Hampshire State Director Tom Irwin. “After months of hearings, the committee recognized that Northern Pass would be bad for our state, harming the many communities in its path. New Hampshire has rejected this harmful project, and it should stay firmly off of the table.”
