Varun Deshpande serves as CLF’s Development Research Assistant.
A native of Massachusetts, Varun attended New York University where he majored in History and minored in Environmental Studies and Creative Writing. While at NYU, his senior capstone project analyzed housing in Greater Boston, in particular the history of opposition to housing density in local communities. He has also worked on political campaigns, in environmental health and safety, and in marketing.
In his spare time, Varun enjoys playing the piano, writing, traveling, and is an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.
