Francesca is the Program Coordinator for CLF’s Legal Food Hub. In this position, she supports New England farmers, food entrepreneurs, and food and farm organizations by matching them with attorneys in the Hub’s network for pro bono legal assistance.
Francesca’s background is in the nonprofit sector with a focus on food systems. This has included positions at the Henry P. Kendall Foundation and University of RI Master Gardener Program, and ongoing leadership for the Young Farmer Network of Southeastern New England and Urban Greens Food Co-Op. She integrates a human-centered, anti-racist approach throughout her work and is committed to transforming programs to center justice and support lasting systems change. At the Legal Food Hub, she leads projects to ensure that the program is equitably serving the full diversity of New England’s food and farm community.
Francesca has lived in New York City, Massachusetts, Italy, and now Providence, RI. In her free time, she pursues creative practices in ceramics, embroidery, baking, gardening, and dance.
