Eileen Marks is Chief Financial Officer for CLF, where she oversees finance, human resources, and operations. Her experience prior to joining CLF in 2020 includes work in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations in publishing, management consulting, and commercial banking.
As treasurer and vice president of the board of El Hogar Ministries, Inc., a nonprofit serving children born into extreme poverty in Honduras, she managed and streamlined financial operations, implemented human resource systems, and helped build organizational capacity for growth. Prior to that, she spent ten years at Harvard Business Publishing, where she grew their newsletter business from a start-up to a profitable business unit with multiple publications.
Eileen holds an MBA from Harvard Business School as well as a BBA in Business Honors and a BA in Government from the University of Texas at Austin. She lives in Winchester, MA with her two sons, is an avid explorer of independent bookstores, and likes to bike, hike, and travel.
