Diane O’Donnell is the Director of Total Rewards, where she directs CLF’s benefits, well-being, and compensation programs as well as oversees maintenance and advancement of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Diane plays a key role in ensuring that CLF’s values of diversity, equity and inclusion are demonstrated in all of HR’s work, especially in the area of total rewards.
Diane joins CLF from the New England Aquarium as the former Director of Compensation, Benefits & HRIS. Diane’s HR experience has spanned both nonprofit and for-profit sectors, mainly with conservation, science, and research-based organizations. Throughout her career Diane has helped organizations design compensation and benefit programs through a DEI lens to ensure fair and equitable plans that meet the needs of all staff. Diane professes to be an HRIS geek and continuously seeks to utilize technology to improve HR processes and employ HRIS data to help make more informed decisions.
Diane graduated from Boston College with a BA in Human Development. She lives in Winchester, MA with her husband. In her free time you can find Diane hiking the trails of New England, burying her toes on the beaches of Cape Cod, or tackling a puzzle.
